We got up early in the morning (0700 am is super early for it being Sunday :P) and got ready... and then waited for the *call* (we were supposed to leave as soon as they called)... I was just telling DH, that watch... they said they would call around 0800 am and they probably wouldn't call us until like 1000 am! And there goes the phone... the clinic called sharp at 0800 am. The nurse mentioned that our ET has been pushed to Tuesday (July 28, 2009) and I will be getting a call from them between 0900 to 1100 am (on Tuesday). I enquired about our Embie babies! The nurse mentioned that they do not update us about it right now and since the ET has been pushed to Tuesday it means that everything is going well (so far). So now we wait for two more days! :) Constantly praying that our babies are doing well and are growing strong... and we have some beauties for Tuesday (and hopefully a few to freeze)!
That's great news - blastocyst transfer! Yay!
ReplyDeleteBB that's fab news!!! Aren't they mean in not saying anything more about it??? My wait is not over yet, they could still call with bad news and I am keeping myself busy reading blogs! All going well we'l get an update tomorrow as they say transition between day 3 and 4 is the crucial one. Wishing you all the very best for your blast trnasfer and really really hoping that I'll be with you in the 2ww! Love, Fran
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful news! How frustrating to not hear about how they are doing... but I'm sure they are doing great!
ReplyDeleteThe PIO shots are better - the initial reaction was a fluke, maybe, just left a nice bruise after all. The rest have not. They just make my rear a little sore now, but not so bad. I am feeling kind of ambivalent about whether this will work - my clinic tests pretty early (next Monday, two weeks post-retrieval) so I won't have to wait long. It just feels like it would be a huge long shot with a single embryo transfer on day 3. But...you never know. They advised me that if we have to do another cycle, they want me to take a month off, but if that is the case I am going to appeal to them to let me do a 2nd cycle back to back (provided my baseline u/s and b/w are fine). I would rather keep going than spend a month lamenting a failed cycle, but that's just me. Then again, during the month off between the IUI and the start of the IVF cycle, I got four rooms painted in my house!
ReplyDeleteoh wow...I bet you feel like you are in the TWWx10 especially since you know you have fertilized embryos....
ReplyDeleteGetting pushed to a day 5 transfer is always great news. Yay!!! Here's to lots of happy, healthy embies come Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteCrossing my fingers and sending lots of prayers for lots of healthy embies on Tuesday!
